I just finished Linda Chalker-Scotts well respected book "The Informed Gardener". It will be available soon on Audible.com. If you are a gardener, it is a must. Listen while you work!!
Next up is "Firedance," a romance for a producer that's is new to me: AudioLark. I am looking forward to establishing a new working relationship, and to recording this title.
My good buddy, Myles, at Books in Motion tells me a new title is on it's way from them too. I didn't get a title, so it will be a surprise!!
And then I have the great honor of recording Todd Walton's beautiful book "Louie and Women"! I'm very excited about this project. He is the author of "Inside Moves," which was made into a very successful movie in 1980--was Academy Award nominated in fact. "Louie and Women" went to the first day of filming it's movie adaptation (with none other than Liam Neeson as Louie!!!), but got pulled at the last minute for one of the many mysterious reasons studios cancel pictures. In any event, I get to record the audiobook!!!!!

One Small Victory
I'm about halfway through "One Small Victory" by Maryann Miller. It's a drama about a single mom who goes undercover as a drug user to be a confidential informant for the police after her teenage son is killed in a drug related car crash.
It's proving to be a very fun read, and being a single mother myself, I feel very connected to the protagonist. It will be available from Books In Motion and Audible soon.

Medicine in Translation nearing Completion
I am getting close to finishing "Medicine in Translation" by Danielle Ofri. I am listening back to my work, to see if I want to make changes--always dangerous because I can be very hard on myself. It is an extraordinary memoir of a doctor who works in the Survivors of Torture program at Bellevue Hospital. Some of the stories are extremely difficult, but there is also a tremendous amount of hope and love in this book. I hope you will listen. It will be available from Audible.com in the New Year.

Finished "Fanfare"
Finished "Fanfare" by Renee Ahdieh. Such a delightful novel. It was such a pleasure to record. I feel like the characters became friends. I'm a little sad to let it go. It will be available soon on Audible.com.
In short, it is about a young (funny, wry, and slightly cynical) young woman meets a movie star in passing, and the circumstances align in such a way that a friendship develops. Who has not entertained this fantasy at one time or another?? (if only George Clooney got to know me....I'm sure he'd really like me...)
I won't spoil it by saying more. Suffice it to say that it is very well written, fresh, and very satisfying.....

Killer in the Woods; A Psychological Thriller
Had my production of "Killer in The Woods" by R. Barri Flowers approved today by the ACX (Audible's production platform)! It should be available for sale on iTunes, Audible, and Amazon by early next week. It is set in an upscale neighborhood of the Pacific Northwest, where a mysterious killer is strangling young attractive women. The neighbors rally together to create a neighborhood watch to try to catch the killer. But what if the killer is one of them?
